Plus, the Pro version features Green Theme Technology's Empel PFC-free DWR, which adds a level of weather resistance for mountain adventures.

The Black Diamond Alpenglow Pro Hoody offers ultimate sun coverage as well as water resistance for mountain missions with unpredictable weather. Featuring UPF 50+ fabric, we've also added GTT's revolutionary Empel Technology, an environmentally friendly PFC-free water-repellant finish that is superior in performance compared to any other C-6, C-8, or C-0 DWR. The Alpenglow Pro also sports a 1/4 zip opening for regulating body temperature, HeiQ Pure underarm mesh panels for extra breathability, a concealed chest pocket, thumb-loops, and an over-the-helmet compatible hood, making this hoody an essential layer from the desert to the alpine.
