Product Setup:
- Fully assemble both spreader bars and make sure each arm snaps together completely.
- Slide each bar through the first fabric sleeve (A), and then between each suspension strap (B + C), and through the second fabric sleeve (D) before fully inserting into pole pockets (E).
- Connect carabiners to a hammock stand, hammock straps, or anchor points that can safely support the hammock and its occupant. Make sure each carabiner clicks closed and visually check that the gates are closed before use.
- Gently lower yourself into the hammock to determine if adjustments are needed for a hanging height of 18â (45cm) or less, and a hanging angle of approx. 20º - 30º. In general, a spreader bar hammock is more comfortable with a tighter hanging angle.
- PRO TIP: Attach Safety Tether System (sold separately) to improve the safety and stability of your hammock when using a hammock stand or to secure the hammock to the stand when left unattended or on a windy day.
Product Care:
- Extend the lifetime of your hammock by storing in a cool dry place during severe weather conditions or when not in use for extended periods of time. Do not leave outside permanently. Extensive UV and elemental exposure will damage hammock and cause discoloration.
- Rinse regularly with clear water to help prevent dirt from becoming embedded in the fabric and to extend the lifetime of your hammock.
- To remove any dirt and stains, spot clean with soap or mild detergent and a sponge or soft bristle brush. Rinse thoroughly and allow fabric to air dry.
- Prevent damage by removing sharp items in your pockets and any debris from shoes.
- Hammocks are flammable; keep away from open flames and embers.
